As we are volunteer-run, 100% of your contributions go towards buying supplies such as microscope slides, pipettes, sample tubes, and handouts/worksheets for participants, and make it possible for us to provide free science programming.

We are not currently a 501(c)(3) organization, although we plan to apply for federal tax-exempt status and register as a non-profit organization in the state of Maryland by early 2024. Nevertheless, we are committed to fiscal responsibility and financial transparency and we want all of our donors to feel confident that we are making efficient and responsible use of their money. Towards this end we will make publicly available the following:
(1) A spreadsheet detailing our estimated expenses based on our current activities
(2) A spreadsheet detailing our actual donations and expenses
(3) A document discussing our plans for growth and estimating the costs of future programs which we would like to develop. As of 08/31/2023 this document is still under construction; this link will go live in September 2023.
